- Looking to book a DJ for your event you’ve one chance to get it right. As the saying goes ‘If you pay peanuts you get monkeys.’ Quality counts and costs, it’s not just the equipment a quality DJ invests in, it’s talent and experience. Two speakers and an amplifier doesn’t make a DJ it just makes a noise, a good DJ knows their craft, speaker placement, the right volume, watts, ohms, gain structure, eq, lighting, safe correct power level matching, natural frequencies knowing the science, so if you do book a DJ please remember the DJ will be there setting up around an hour and a half before you arrive and about the same time packing away when you’ve all gone home. Not to mention the back breaking work of loading and unloading their transport, the journey there and home then unload again, plus the five or so hours spent on there feet entertaining you and your guests. If you want someone for as cheap as possible think again and what you actually want for your special occasion. I am not the cheapest nor the most expensive out there, but I do come highly recommended by venues and clients due to my quality and professional approach.
